Summary of Donations to Shelter
My father was dedicated to helping the homeless. He created exhibitions on vagrancy, offered a yearly homeless meal in plymouth bus station which we all attended. It was a lovely atmosphere. Robert made friends with the homeless and provided accommodation for them by opening warehouses and even our own home to people who had nowhere to stay. This was an act of huge generosity and warmth from one of England’s most talented portrait artists. Robert grew up in London and settled in Plymouth. I have requested the charity donations focus on Plymouth, London and my own home here in Liverpool.
